Ava’s forecast: Cool and wet Tuesday before a dry mid-week warm-up

As we started this week, we’ve been tracking big surf, high winds, scattered showers, and cooler days.
We woke up to some isolated showers- and we are tracking the same round of moisture going into Tuesday morning.
Temperatures are dropping as the low pressure system moves south- we have already seen temperature differences cooling by 15 to 20 degrees!
Coastal and valley highs will hover in the upper 60s, the upper 50s in the mountains, and the upper 70s in the deserts.
Tomorrow will be the coolest day of the week, with slight warming and clearing on Wednesday and Thursday. Halloween night will be on the chillier side!
Heads up for beach-goers! A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect until Tuesday night. This means we could see up to 8-foot sets and 3 to 6-foot waves.
The wind advisory for the mountains and deserts is set to expire Tuesday morning.
Despite drying out and warming up after Tuesday- we are still tracking another system this weekend!
